Patria AMV (Armored Modular Vehicle) is an 8×8 multi-role armored fighting vehicle (AFV) developed by Patria of Finland. The AMV has been in service with the Finnish Army since 2007 and has also been exported to Poland, Sweden, and South Africa.
AMV is designed to be modular, allowing it to be configured for a variety of roles, including infantry fighting vehicle, armored personnel carrier, command and control vehicle, and ambulance. The AMV is protected by STANAG 4569 Level 4 armor, which can withstand hits from 14.5mm armor-piercing rounds.
The AMV is powered by a 710-horsepower diesel engine that gives it a top speed of 65 km/h (40 mph) and a range of 600 km (370 mi). The AMV is armed with a 30mm cannon and a 7.62mm machine gun.
