Mercedes-AMG F1 W09 EQ Power+ was a Formula One racing car designed and developed by Mercedes-AMG Petronas Motorsport to compete in the 2018 Formula One World Championship. The car was driven by Lewis Hamilton and Valtteri Bottas. W09 was an evolution of its predecessor, the F1 W08 EQ Power+, and featured a number of aerodynamic changes, including a revised front wing, bargeboards, and rear wing. The car was also powered by an upgraded version of the Mercedes-AMG M09 EQ Power+ hybrid engine. The W09 was a dominant car in the 2018 season, winning 11 races and taking both the Drivers’ and Constructors’ Championships. Hamilton won the Drivers’ Championship for the fifth time in his career, while Bottas finished second in the standings.
