Ford Taunus P7 is a range of large family cars produced by Ford Germany between 1967 and 1971. The P7 was marketed as the Ford 17M, Ford 20M and Ford 26M. Ford Taunus P7 was introduced in autumn 1967, replacing the Ford Taunus P6. The P7 was a completely new design, with a modern, unitary body structure and a more spacious interior. The P7 was also offered with a wider range of engines than its predecessor, including four-cylinder and V6 units. The Ford Taunus P7 was a sales success, with over 720,000 units produced during its four-year production run. The P7 was particularly popular in Germany, where it was the best-selling car in its class in 1968 and 1969.
Ford Taunus P7 was offered in a variety of body styles, including a two-door coupé, a four-door sedan and a five-door estate.
