Lamborghini Asterion LPI 910-4 Concept is a plug-in hybrid sports car that was unveiled at the 2014 Paris Motor Show. It is the first hybrid car from Lamborghini, and it is powered by a combination of a 5.2-liter V10 engine and three electric motors. Asterion’s V10 engine produces 610 horsepower and 413 pound-feet of torque. The electric motors produce a combined output of 300 horsepower and 295 pound-feet of torque. The Asterion’s total system output is 910 horsepower and 663 pound-feet of torque. The Asterion can accelerate from 0 to 60 mph in 3.0 seconds and has a top speed of 298 km/h (185 mph). The car has a battery range of 50 km (31 miles) on electric power alone. Asterion has a sleek and aerodynamic design. It features a long, low hood, a sloping roofline, and a wide stance. The car’s interior is luxurious and well-appointed, with features such as leather upholstery, carbon fiber trim, and a panoramic sunroof. Asterion was a concept car, and it was never put into production. However, it is considered to be a preview of future hybrid cars from Lamborghini.
