Lamborghini Asterion LPI 910-4 Concept is a plug-in hybrid grand touring sports car that was unveiled at the 2014 Paris Motor Show. It is based on the Lamborghini Huracan, but it has a number of significant differences, including a hybrid powertrain, a revised exterior design, and a more luxurious interior.
Asterion is powered by a combination of a 5.2-liter V10 engine and three electric motors. The V10 engine produces 610 horsepower, while the electric motors produce a combined output of 290 horsepower. The combined output of the powertrain is 900 horsepower and 660 lb-ft of torque.
The Asterion can accelerate from 0 to 60 mph in 3.0 seconds and has a top speed of 220 mph. It can also run on electric power alone for up to 31 miles.
Lamborghini Asterion has a revised exterior design that is more aerodynamic than the Huracan. It has a more aggressive front fascia, a wider body, and a larger rear diffuser. The interior is also more luxurious, with a leather-wrapped dashboard and seats, and a Bang & Olufsen sound system.
Asterion was never intended for production, but it is a significant car for Lamborghini. It represents the company’s commitment to hybrid technology and its desire to create more luxurious and comfortable cars.
