Lancia Lybra is a family car produced by the Italian automaker Lancia from 1999 to 2006. It was available in sedan and station wagon body styles. The Lybra was based on the Fiat Bravo/Brava platform and was powered by a range of Fiat-sourced engines, including a 1.6-liter petrol, a 1.8-liter petrol, a 2.0-liter petrol, and a 1.9-liter diesel. The Lybra was available in a variety of trim levels, including the base LE, the mid-range LX, and the top-of-the-range Executive. Lybra was a well-received car, with critics praising its handling, ride comfort, and spacious interior. However, it was not a commercial success, and sales were slow. This was due in part to the fact that Lancia was no longer a major player in the European market, and also to the fact that the Lybra was priced higher than its rivals.
The Lybra was discontinued in 2006, and it was not replaced. Lancia has since withdrawn from most European markets, and it now only sells cars in Italy.
Lancia Lybra was a comfortable and well-equipped car, but it was not a commercial success. It was discontinued in 2006 and was not replaced.
