Peugeot RCZ is a sports coupé produced by the French automaker Peugeot from 2010 to 2015. It is based on the Peugeot 308 hatchback, but has a shorter wheelbase, wider track, and a more powerful engine. The RCZ was designed by Peugeot’s in-house design team, led by Pierre-Paul Mattei. It was unveiled at the 2009 Frankfurt Motor Show and went on sale in Europe in early 2010. RCZ is powered by a 1.6-liter turbocharged four-cylinder engine that produces 156 horsepower and 177 pound-feet of torque. The RCZ also has a panoramic glass roof that can be opened or closed. RCZ was discontinued in 2015 due to slow sales. It was replaced by the Peugeot 3008 SUV.
