The Skoda 1000 MB is a rear-engined, rear-wheel drive compact car that was produced by Czechoslovak automaker AZNP from 1964 to 1969. It was the first mass-produced car in Czechoslovakia to be built with a fully integrated body and chassis, and it was also the first to feature a rear-mounted engine.
The 1000 MB was powered by a 988-cc four-cylinder engine that produced 40 horsepower. This engine was mated to a four-speed manual transmission. The 1000 MB could accelerate from 0 to 60 mph in 28 seconds and had a top speed of 75 mph.
1000 MB was a popular car in Czechoslovakia and was exported to other countries, including the United Kingdom, France, and the United States. It was a relatively affordable car, which made it a popular choice for families and young drivers.
