T-47 airspeeder, also known as the snowspeeder, was a twin-engine, repulsorlift vehicle used by the Rebel Alliance during the Galactic Civil War. It was a fast and maneuverable craft, making it ideal for hit-and-run attacks against Imperial walkers.
The snowspeeder was first deployed on the ice planet Hoth, where it was used to defend Echo Base against an Imperial attack. The snowspeeders were able to destroy several AT-AT walkers, but they were ultimately overwhelmed by the Imperial forces.
The snowspeeder was also used in the Battle of Endor, where it helped to destroy the Death Star II. After the war, the snowspeeder was retired from military service, but it continued to be used by civilian organizations.
