ZIL-4104 was a limousine built by ZIL at the end of the 1970s and into the early 1980s. It served as the official transport for the highest echelons of the Soviet government, including General Secretary Leonid Brezhnev. It was replaced in 1986 by the ZIL-4105. The ZIL-4104 was a symbol of Soviet power and prestige. It was used to transport government officials, visiting dignitaries, and other members of the elite. The car was also used in numerous Soviet films and television shows.
Only a small number of ZIL-4104s were ever produced, making them highly collectible today. Some estimates suggest that only 50 were built each year.
